IT STARTS

Phoebe Lloyd was born at the dawn of the new century in a 450 square foot East Village apartment. When they turned five their family moved to Northampton Massachusetts, dragging a devastated Phoebe with them. Luckily, with time, they came to love the rolling countryside and attended a performing arts highschool. Had it not been for their acceptance to the Carnegie Mellon University School of Drama Phoebe would have taken a gap year and tried to make it as a standup comic, but the universe spared us all.

During their time at CMU they learned that their favorite way to engage with acting is through physical techniques such as Suzuki, Viewpoints, and Stanislavski's active analysis. When they devise work, they like to walk the line between absurdity and reality.

They graduated in with their BFA in May of 2023 and are shocked and honored to call themself a “highly trained dramatic actor”, and “passable screenwriter”.

Phoebe loves to work, they love to meet new people, and they love to be surprised. They hope to make beautiful things, if you also have this desire, they hope to work with you.
